Anuncian a los nominados para los MTV Movie Awards 2004 - Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl obtiene seis nominaciones.

MTV: Music Television anunció el día de hoy los nominados para los 2004
MTV Movie Awards. Piratas del Caribe: La Maldición del Perla Negra
(Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) obtuvo un total de
seis nominaciones, mientras que 50 First Dates y X2: X-Men United
obtienen cuatro. La ceremonia de premiación será transmitida el 10 de junio a
las 9 PM. La ceremonia de premiación será grabada el 5 de junio en los Sony
Picture Studios en Culver City, CA. 

Únicamente en los MTV Movie Awards verás una categoría que
enfrenta a un veterinario contra un samurai contra un pirata, comenta Van
Toffler, Presidente, MTV/MTV2 y MTV Films. En su décimo tercer año,
todos nuestros nominados reflejan la variedad de gustos de la audiencia de MTV y
este año no deberá ser la excepción con películas y momentos
divertidos.

Los nominados para los 2004 MTV Movie Awards son selecionados a partir
de una encuesta a nivel nacional entre los espectadores de MTV y MTV2. Los
ganadores serán determinados por los espectadores de MTV y MTV2, y únicamente
los clients de Virgin Mobile USA podrán votar desde sus teléfonos celulares
mediante *MTV, en la sección VirginXtras. Otros espectadores podrán
votar del 21 de abril al 19 de mayo en línea al visitar MTV.com o llamando al
900-868-1100 con un costo de $0.99 por llamada (únicamente mayores de 18
años). 

Los 2004 MTV Movie Awards serán vistos en 166 países mediante 42
servicios de programación, y en 18 lenguajes en mas de 401.8 millones de
hogares.
